Time has always been our enemy; we were always being chased.

No matter how many moments we shared,

there was never quite enough.

Distance was like a pendulum -

sometimes drawing us close, sometimes pulling us apart.

And through it all,

we were surrounded by people who believe in love,

support our relationship, and look after us when

we cannot be there for each other.

Time still rushes us, but on September 12th,

we want to pause and thank those who love us.

This is not a wedding;
it is a celebration for you and
for the love that brought us here.
